Installation at a glance

1. Drive a green "T" post or a light-duty "U" post into the ground about 10 inches from the tree.
2. Remove the 3-inch snap-out section from Tree-Mate-O and clip it to the post.
3. Position the tree inside the ring, then reinsert the snap-out section to secure.
4. Wrap the EPDM band around the trunk below the ring and hook the ends over the side tabs.
