Meet the Orbit Pulse XL pop-up sprinkler, engineered to perform in challenging water conditions. It is designed to resist clogging when faced with high mineral content, dirty or reclaimed water, thanks to a robust double-weighted impact arm and corrosion resistant materials. A 3 inch pop-up height helps the nozzle clear taller grasses, while the donut ring and rolled lip work together to keep grass from encroaching on the canister and to protect landscape edges.

With a compact canister and a mix of metal and high impact ABS components, this sprinkler is built to stand up to outdoor duties. It replaces typical pop up rotors from Orbit, as well as other major brands, offering a flexible upgrade path for larger or more complex landscapes.

Performance and flexibility

Designed for coverage up to 45 feet, the Pulse XL offers a generous throw that suits many mid to large scale lawn zones. The spray arc is adjustable from 20 to 360 degrees, allowing precise targeting to hit only the landscape while avoiding sidewalks, driveways, and other hard surfaces.

The sprinkler ships with a pre installed 3 GPM nozzle, delivering a full pattern rate at 40 PSI that supports uniform wetting over 40 foot square spacing. For customized precipitation, you can switch to the additional 4 GPM or 2 GPM nozzles to create full, half or quarter pattern effects. A radius adjustment screw provides control to reduce the throw to about three quarters of its rated distance.

Durability is enhanced by a combination of materials: the can and riser are made from high impact ABS while critical components are stainless steel. Inlet options include a side 1 2 inch female thread and a bottom inlet that accepts 1 2 inch or 3 4 inch threads, with a slotted plug to seal unused inlets. The result is a versatile unit that supports straightforward installation and reliable operation across a range of irrigation setups.
