The LEAF BONE Leaf Skimmer Kit for Pools makes surface skimming effortless, using the popular LEAF BONE Clip to hold a leaf rake net at the waterline. This hands-free setup helps you capture floating leaves and debris right where they gather, so you can enjoy a cleaner pool with less effort.

Designed for both above-ground and in-ground pools, the kit attaches securely to the pool edge or to a movable base. The rigid construction stays steady as you skim, keeping a full net in position and preventing leaves from drifting toward the bottom or clogging the skimmer basket. Once installed, you can fine-tune the position to suit your pool’s water flow and your preferred skim angle.

How it works & Installation

Installation is straightforward and adaptable. For above-ground pools, you’ll drill two small mounting holes and secure the kit with the included stainless screws, washers, and nuts. For in-ground pools, the kit includes two wood screws to mount onto a movable wooden base. The PVC tube slides inside the clamp, the LEAF BONE Clip can be adjusted up or down or rotated, and the net can be positioned vertically inside the Clip to dial in the skim path.

When you mount the skimmer on a moveable base, you can position it where water flow is strongest to maximize debris capture at the surface. Net not included; LEAF BONE fits most leaf nets and is tapered inside to grip your leaf net handle for a secure hold.
