Compatibility & installation notes

The umbrella valve housing must be secured to the air inlet tube by connecting the heater/pump unit on top of it, as shown in the photos. If left unsecured, water pressure could dislodge it and cause a leak or flood.

Notes on leakage

OEM designs the umbrella valve to reduce flow to a slow drip. Even with a brand-new spa, a small amount of leakage may occur. This is normal and supported by additional seals between the liner and the pump, inside the pump, and a cap for pump disconnection.
