Overview

Aosnom presents an easy-to-service retrofit for Coleman Lay-Z-Spa AirJet hot tubs. The kit relocates the silicone umbrella valve to the front of the air inlet tube, simplifying access for cleaning and maintenance while preserving the valve’s original function. Designed to suit both older shallow-tube designs and newer deeper-tube configurations, it supports both the 2nd generation (egg-shaped) and 3rd generation (square-shaped) heater/pump units. This approach offers a practical upgrade path without replacing the entire inlet assembly, helping you keep the spa running with familiar components.

By using the same silicone umbrella valve the spa originally uses, the system aims to maintain compatibility and consistent performance, while making routine checks more convenient. What’s Included

• 1 umbrella valve with retrofit plastic housing that installs at the front of the air inlet tube
• 1 air inlet seal (connector “A”)

How It Works

The umbrella valve presses into the air inlet tube on the spa liner. The kit uses the exact same silicone umbrella valve, but mounts it at the front of the tube for easier cleaning and service. There is no need to remove or replace the old valve at the back of the tube—the new unit stacks on top and provides the same function. It is compatible with both older spas (shallow tube) and newer spas (deep tube).

Important: The umbrella valve housing must be secured to the air inlet tube by connecting the heater/pump unit on top of it, as shown in the accompanying photos. If the housing is not secured, water pressure could dislodge it and flood the area.

• Compatible with both 2nd generation (egg-shaped) and 3rd generation (square-shaped) heater/pump units.
• The umbrella valve housing stacks on top of the front inlet for easy cleaning and service without swapping the existing rear valve.

Installation Tips & Safety Notes

• Ensure the heater/pump is positioned on top of the housing to secure it in place as shown.
• Be aware that even with the OEM valve, a small amount of leakage can occur; this is typical and part of the design.
• Keep the area dry and check for secure connections after initial setup and before use.
