The sensor features two solar panels that power a built-in aspirating fan. This airflow boosts ambient temperature readings, helping to maintain accuracy as weather shifts through the day. Data access and connectivity

Readings are transmitted wirelessly every 36 seconds, with a range of up to 330 feet (about 100 meters). You can view data on an indoor display for at-a-glance status, or pair the sensor with the AcuRite Access hub (sold separately) to monitor conditions from anywhere using a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
